Emergency Floodlighting Unit


Twinspot emergency floodlight incorporate a British Standard Approved Constant Voltage Charger. The chargers are fitted with thermal, current and short circuit protection devices and a low voltage disconnect circuit to prevent the batteries entering a deep discharge state in the event of prolonged power failure, maximising battery life.

Batteries are maintenance free, sealed lead acid types with a life expectancy of five years under normal conditions.

The robust but stylish sheet steel enclose are finished in light grey epoxy coating. The luminaires are also available in an IP65 enclosure.

The LED indicates that the charger is functioning and that the battery is connected. It also indicates that the filaments of the lamps are intact.

Twinspot is available with a 26W CFL lamp housed in a single all polycarbonate projector incorporating a mirror aluminium reflector, with the control gear and nickel cadmium battery mounted within the main enclosure.





The fluorescent light source of Twinspot has many advantages:
  • Individual units are well suited to provide low-glare controlled emergency lighting between racking.

  • Units may be maintained or non-maintained.

  • The projector is made from injection moulded polycarbonate and sealed to IP65 so is suitable for use in food processing plants.

  • The gear and battery case can be supplied within an IP65 rated enclosure for exterior or wash down areas.
